Dietitians of America provides an online platform that connects consumers with licensed and credentialed dietitians and nutrition professionals across the United States. Our Service allows professionals to create profiles, and users to search, review, and connect with those professionals.

We do not provide medical, dietary, or health advice directly. Any communication or consultation between users and professionals occurs independently of our platform.

2. Eligibility and Professional Credentials

Professionals creating profiles on Dietitians of America must be duly licensed, credentialed, or registered dietitians or nutrition professionals in good standing within their respective jurisdictions. By creating or maintaining a profile, you represent and warrant that all information provided — including license or registration status, credentials, certifications, and areas of specialization — is accurate, current, and truthful.

Dietitians of America does not independently verify or monitor the ongoing validity of licenses, credentials, or registrations. It is the sole responsibility of each professional to ensure that their credentials remain active and in good standing.

In the event that a license, certification, or registration lapses, expires, or becomes invalid for any reason, the professional must promptly update or remove their listing. Dietitians of America reserves the right, but not the obligation, to suspend or remove any profile that appears to contain inaccurate, outdated, or misleading credential information.

By using this platform, professionals agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dietitians of America, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or losses arising from inaccurate, false, or expired professional information, or from a professional’s failure to maintain valid licensing or registration status.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use our Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

• Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or professional qualifications
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Collect, scrape, or harvest user data for commercial use without authorization

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or otherwise misuse the platform.

We do not participate in or monitor user–professional interactions and are not responsible for any advice, outcomes, or relationships resulting from those interactions.

Users should independently verify the credentials and suitability of any professional before engaging their services.

All website content, including logos, text, graphics, design, and data compilations, is the property of Dietitians of America and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Professionals retain ownership of the content they upload (such as profile photos, bios, or business information), but grant Dietitians of America a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and promote that content in connection with the Service.

You may not copy, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.
