About Me

Laura Silver (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian and a New York State Certified Dietitian-Nutritionist. She holds a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Maryland, and an M.S. in Clinical Nutrition from New York University. Laura completed her dietetic internship at the Bronx VA Medical Center where she went on to work as a clinical dietitian for two years while building Silver Street Nutrition. She incorporates principles of intuitive eating, Health at Every Size®, mindfulness, CBT, and self-compassion to help clients heal their relationship with food and their bodies. Laura has completed multiple highly regarded courses in nutrition counseling for eating disorders and body image healing at the Marci Evan’s Food and Body Image Healers ® Training Institute.
